The famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada sign on the Las Vegas strip.
This sign is about half a mile south of Mandalay Bay; many tourists overlook it since
it is not located in the main tourist area with is north from Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere.
During 2008 a parking lot was built to the south of the sign, so you can now park
safely to shoot photos of the sign. In the past you had to park at the tourist bureau
or Klondike and dash across the street with no traffic light or crosswalk.
