THEhotel (that's how they officially spell it) was originally a second room tower for Mandalay Bay but is now marketed as a separate and slightly higher priced property.
I stayed at Mandalay Bay in December 2008 and noticed that THEhotel has its own parking garage.
THEhotel tower is 43 stories of 1,117 one-bedroom suites, which is why it's priced higher than Mandalay Bay.
